The 3fold Space inaugurates a new literary genre: Variable Fiction.
It is currently being translated from the French by a team of translation students and teachers from Master T3L of Saint-Denis university (Dominique Debize, Sara Heft, Badr Lagtaa, Émilie Martin, Hélène Perrin, Alix Touzier du Vigier).
For the moment, this site provides access to the reading/writing platform and to a few sample texts. New texts will be added as they are translated and all the functionalities available on the French version of the site www.3espaces.com will be offered.
VARIABLE FICTION is a crossmedia, pervasive, interactive and massively cooperative fiction. Variable fiction is meant to be broadcast and edited on any and on all media, digital or not. The reading platform on this site gives access to the digital and hypertextual version of the story. But The 3fold Space is much more than a hypertext ! You can, for instance, visualize its first pervasive broadcast in Paris. An artistic event that has been experienced by over a million persons.
